From the North

From Interstate 85, take Exit 149 for US 441 South. Go 20 miles south on 441 to the Athens Loop 10. Turn left (east) on the Athens Loop (US 441 South/Loop 10). Take the next exit to continue on 441 South and Loop 10, and continue for 3 miles to Exit 7 for College Station Road. Turn right (west) onto College Station Road and move into the left lane. From the East

Take US 78 west to Athens. After going under the Athens Loop 10 overpass, turn left to enter Athens Loop 10/US 29 South/US 441 South. Continue to the next exit (Exit 7) for College Station Road. Turn right (west) onto College Station Road and move into the left lane. See “From College Station Road” (below) to continue.

From the South

From Interstate 20, exit north onto US 441 (Madison, GA exit). Continue north on US 441 to the Athens Loop. Follow the loop (US 441 North and 10) and take the second exit (Exit 7) for College Station Road. Turn left (west) onto College Station Road and stay in the left lane. From the West

North side of Atlanta: From Atlanta's perimeter (I-285), exit to Interstate 85 north. Continue north on I-85 and exit east onto GA 316. Continue on GA 316 to Athens. As you enter the Athens area, take the Athens Loop towards UGA (US 78 East/US 29 North/Loop 10). Take Exit 7 for College Station Road and turn left (west), staying in the left lane. South side of Atlanta and from I-75 going north toward Atlanta: From Atlanta's perimeter (I-285), exit to Interstate 20 east. Continue east on I-20 to Conyers, and take the Highway 138 exit (Exit 82). Continue east on 138 to Monroe and merge onto US 78. Take US 78 east until it meets with GA 316 and exit east onto GA 316 to Athens. As you enter the Athens area, take the Athens Loop towards UGA (US 78 East/US 29 North/Loop 10). Take Exit 7 for College Station Road and turn left (west), staying in the left lane. See “From College Station Road” (below) to continue.

From College Station Road

After turning west onto College Station Road, go straight through two traffic lights, then turn right at the yield onto Agriculture Drive. After passing the top of the hill, Driftmier Engineering Center will be on your right. For parking, drive 500 feet past the entrance to Driftmier. At the bottom of the hill turn left into the entrance just before the first building on the left (the Coverdell Center). Immediately behind Coverdell is the Carlton Street Parking Deck, which will be on your right.

Walk back to Driftmier, and the Engineering Outreach Service is located in the Annex at the far end of the driveway. We can provide parking vouchers for free exit from the deck.
